City of Dana Point Recreation Classes and Events
The City of Dana Point Recreation Division creates community through people and programs by providing recreational and cultural arts programs for all ages. Dana Point Recreation also works closely with local non-profit organizations in a collaborative effort to offer a wide variety of community events.
Age Well provides programs and resources for Orange County's older adults with the sole mission of promoting their vitality, purpose, and supporting their independence and health and well-being to age well.
Arts For All provides the work of professional artist with in-need youth and isolated individuals who do not have the opportunity or means to enroll themselves in a music program. Their mission is to make a positive and productive difference within the community.
Assistance League of Capistrano Valley
Assistance League of Capistrano Valley's mission is to engage and empower volunteers to strengthen our community.
Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley
The Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley are a world-class afterschool non-profit, offering quality programs for academic success and healthy lifestyles while building good character and leadership skills in members.
Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group
Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group's mission is to provide support and outreach for the benefit of our Wounded, Families of our Fallen, and active duty Marines, Sailors and Families of the 5th Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton and Wounded Warrior Battalion West.
Dana Point Arts Alliance's mission is to promote, support, and provide art opportunities in the community. They presented the Dana Point Art Fest on Del Prado Avenue since 2015, showcasing local artists and musicians. The first annual Plein Air Painting at the Maritime Festival was held in September 2022.
Dana Point Chamber of Commerce
The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce champions business prosperity, economic vitality and community engagement, promoting a high quality of life in and around destination Dana Point. The Chamber is dedicated to making the Dana Point community a great place to do business. They also produce the Annual Dana Point Turkey Trot, Car Show, and more.
Dana Point Entertainment & Arts Council
The mission of the Dana Point Entertainment & Arts Council is to serve as an advocate for the City to bring world-class entertainment and art to the Dana Point community and promote collaboration and networking among all non-profit organizations.
Dana Point Fine Arts Association
Dana Point Fine Arts Association coordinates art shows throughout the year offering South County residents greater exposure to the fine arts, and to create a venue promoting many talented local artists within the community.
The Dana Point Historical Society advocates for historic buildings that contribute to the eclectic visual character of the community and serves as reminders of Dana Point's rich and colorful past for the enrichment of current and future generations. Dana Point's historic buildings give a sense of continuity and security to the citizens of Dana Point.
Dana Point Sister Cities International
Dana Point Sister Cities International Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization which endeavors to promote international communication, understanding, education, and friendship between the people of Dana Point and people of foreign cities. These principles are accomplished through cultural and business exchanges, student and teacher exchanges, student scholarships, host families, fundraising, and more. Dana Point Sister Cities is a member of Sister Cities International, a worldwide organization.
The Dana Point Surf Club's mission is to foster Dana Point surf ambassadors of tomorrow.
The Mission of the Dana Point Symphony is to provide world-class classical music to Dana Point and the surrounding community and make it accessible to everyone. In addition to presenting high caliber music, the Dana Point Symphony features one visual artist exhibition at the meet-the-artist receptions. Each concert experience is artistically crafted to the desires of the audience.
The Dana Point Woman's Club has been an integral part of the Dana Point community since 1951 and focuses on support and philanthropy in Dana Point and the surrounding community.

The Festival of Whales is an annual seaside event to celebrate the annual return of the California gray whales as they grace Dana Point's coast during their awe-inspiring migration. This festival features ocean-themed events and activities with an emphasis on education and environmental responsibility.
Fish for Life! is a non-profit organization with the mission to enhance the lives of special needs individuals by providing a complimentary fishing trip on the sea for them to enjoy. This program is designed to provide love and inspiration to a multitude of special needs people, while teaching fishing skills and creating memorable experiences.
Friends of the Dana Point Headlands
Friends of the Dana Point Headlands is dedicated to preserving the quality of the environment at the Dana Point Headlands Conservation Area. Their primary objective is to "inspire and enhance the conservation of the Headlands and to further educate the public to its importance."
Gallery Dana Bay Elephant Parade
Gallery Dana Bay represents a collection of over 40 local, national, and international artists. The Elephant Parade is an international social enterprise showcasing the world's largest art exhibition of hand-painted elephant statues.
The Lantern Village Association is an advocate for the needs of the Lantern Village community and neighborhoods.
Rotary International's purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and advance goodwill and peace around the world.
The Music Preserves Foundation's mission is to inspire and educate the community through preservation and presentation of music.
The Ocean Institute was founded as the Orange County Marine Institute in 1977 and offers ocean science and maritime history education and programs from K-12 students and their teachers. Their mission is to use the ocean as their classes and inspire children to learn.
The Pet Project Foundation provides financial and volunteer support to the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life of all companion animals in a pro-humane manner through compassion, responsibility, education, and service.
Soroptimist International of Capistrano Bay
Soroptimist International of Capistrano Bay is a part of an international nonprofit organization for women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
